Route

We will bring you to the best spots of La Digue like L'Union Estate where the famous Anse Source D'Argent beach is situated, to Grand Anse on the east coast or along the northcoast until the road ends.

Occupancy

Your group size can be up to 9 persons per tour.

Full day tour

Every tour starts at 10 am and we will bring you back to your guesthouse at around 16 pm. You will have a full day to explore the island.

Pick up and drop off

Let us know where you stay and we will pick you up at your guesthouse and bring you back after the tour. If you are here just for one day we can also pick you up from the jetty.

Stops

We will do as many stops as you wish to and take breaks for as long as you need one.

What to expect

There is no more comfortable way of exploring La Digue in one day than in a buggy. We will bring you to the best places on the island while you enjoy the view with a sea breeze. This way of cruising around the streets of La Digue is more eco-friendly than taking a taxi yet at the same pace.

  • Anse Source D'Argent
    Anse Source D'Argent beach, renowned for its breathtaking pink-hued sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Nestled amidst giant granite boulders, this idyllic beachscape offers a surreal setting for a tranquil escape and memorable coastal adventures.

  • The Plantation House - L'Union Estate
    The Plantation House is one of the oldest examples of French colonial architecture on La Digue, and was once the home of a Mauritian family who became wealthy on La Digue. The building was created using precious wood and covered with palm leaves

  • Notre Dame de L'Assomption Church
    It is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the country and a symbol of faith and devotion for the local population. The church was built in 1869 and is a classic example of French colonial architecture with its tall spire reaching up to the heavens. A must visit!

  • Giant Tortoise Sanctuary
    The Aldabra Giant Tortoise, scientifically known as Aldabrachelys Gigantea, got its name from the Aldabra Atoll, where it first appeared. These endangered beasts can grow about 1.3 meter's long and weigh over 400 kilograms!!

  • Anse Severe beach
    Anse Severe provides a spectacular view of Praslin Island. It spreads over a 2000 square meter area of soft white sands sprinkled with granite boulders. Known for its excellent view of the sunset and the turquoise waters,  the beach is a peaceful setting away from the city side.

    What Better way to finish off an amazing tour then to sip on a fresh fruit cocktail as we take in and digest a fun packed day of adventure and exploring!! All our guests are treated to a fruit cocktail of their choice at sunset bar at the end of the tour!!
